I made this lino print after first taking photos at Point Nepean National Park, Portsea. These lovely old pylons were still remaining from an old jetty. The weathered wood and metal bolts are evocative of times past and I enjoy feeling a strong connection between then and now. The beauty of nature is reflected by the weathered, leaning posts and beams. In this lino print, I wanted to show the flowing lines of the sea which compliments the lines and grooves in the timber.
